Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups cranberry juice (unsweetened)

  • 1 cup sparkling water or ginger ale

  • 3 tablespoons rosemary syrup (see below)

  • 1 cup ice cubes or crushed ice

  • ½ cup marshmallow fluff or sweetened whipped cream

  • Fresh cranberries and rosemary sprigs for garnish

For the Rosemary Syrup

  • ½ cup water

  • ½ cup sugar (or honey)

  • 1 sprig fresh rosemary

Instructions

  1. Combine water and sugar in a small saucepan.

  2. Add the rosemary sprig and simmer for 5 minutes.

  3. Remove from heat and let it steep for an additional 10 minutes.

  4. Strain and cool before using.

Assembling the Iced Fluff Mule

  1. Fill each mule mug or glass halfway with ice.

  2. Pour cranberry juice and rosemary syrup, then stir gently.

  3. Add sparkling water or ginger ale until the glass is three-quarters full.

  4. Top with a generous spoonful of marshmallow fluff (or whipped cream) to create the “iced fluff” layer.

  5. Decorate with a rosemary sprig and a few floating cranberries.

  6. Serve immediately while chilled and fizzy.

Notes

  • Use copper mugs to honor the drink’s mule inspiration. The visual contrast of copper, red, and white fluff looks stunning.

  • Keep ingredients cold before mixing. Warm juice or syrup can flatten the fizz.

  • Adjust sweetness to taste. Kids might prefer a bit more syrup or ginger ale; adults may enjoy a lighter, tarter version.

  • Make it interactive by letting kids add their own fluff and garnish—turning drink preparation into a mini holiday activity.
